Annie Allsopp

Annie has a long standing career as an R.G.N, specialising in variety of areas. As well as working for the NHS, Annie has held posts in BUPA and Nuffield hospitals, training as a Registered Midwife at Walsall Hospitals NHS Trust.

Annie made the move to industry in 2004 initially as a Nurse Advisor, later moving into business development roles focusing on Pressure Area Care, maintaining her NMC registration throughout.

Annie currently works with the Tissue Viability team at Worcester Health and Care Trust on an honorary contract, her role focussing on equipment selection/application, assisting with training, education and clinical trials.Annie_Allsopp_2.jpg

We are delighted to announce a recent agreement as an Education Partner for The OT Show at which Annie will be presenting in Theatre 1, from 2:15pm to 3.00pm on 24th Novemeber.

Her presentation covers the following areas: identifying pressure ulcers and moisture lesions, the importance of correct classification in relation to equipment selection, seating selection, NICE guidelines, 24-hour care and the importance of continuity of care.
